Description
SMX is hiring a mid-level Network Administrator to support NAVAIR’s enterprise network infrastructure, boundary services, cybersecurity compliance, and modernization efforts at Patuxent River, Maryland. The role involves troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and application connectivity; configuring Cisco and F5 BIG-IP infrastructure; supporting highly available architectures, DoD PKI, STIG remediation, legacy interoperability, and cloud migration; and collaborating with engineering, cybersecurity, and data-center teams. The position requires approximately two to three days onsite each week, a Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and at least three years of relevant network infrastructure experience. The proposed salary is $105,000–$140,000 USD, with health insurance, paid leave, and retirement benefits.
