Abacus Technology is looking for a full-time Network Administrator to join their team at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. The successful candidate will provide WAN infrastructure support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program. Key responsibilities include analyzing and simulating network traffic, monitoring system utilization, escalating complex network issues, developing automation scripts, and documenting workload activities.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years experience in network administration and support.
Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
Preferred Qualifications: CCNP certification desired.
Knowledge of relevant server-side tools and technologies.
Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution.
Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner.
