Description
SAIC is hiring a Network Administrator to support the sustained operation and maintenance of a newly deployed naval enterprise transport network in Suffolk, Virginia. The role provides Tier 2 engineering support, monitors network infrastructure, performs maintenance and deployments, manages privileged access, change management, incident processes, firmware and software updates, failover and disaster recovery, and network capacity and technology evaluations. The position requires a Computer Science or related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, two years of relevant large-network infrastructure experience, an active TS/SCI clearance, and specified networking certifications and skills. It is onsite and requires shift work to cover a 24x7 operational environment.
