Skillsoft is hiring a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure on-premises and cloud network architectures. The role administers Cisco security platforms, Azure networking, Meraki environments, threat detection and hunting, vulnerability management, incident response, and security automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the organization’s security posture.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of professional experience in network and security engineering roles
Experience administering Cisco ASA firewalls and security platforms including Umbrella and SIG
Experience with Azure networking, secure design, and connectivity patterns
Experience managing Meraki network environments
Hands-on experience with threat hunting methodologies and tools
Experience using vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hybrid cloud environments with integrated on-premises and cloud network security models
Familiarity with zero trust networking principles and modern secure access approaches
Exposure to security automation and orchestration tools such as SOAR and scripting
Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or Azure Networking/Security certifications
