Hamburger Energienetze is hiring a Network and Security Infrastructure Engineer to operate and develop firewall and network infrastructure, including Cisco-based campus communication environments, Cisco ACI data centers, Cisco ISE, next-generation firewalls, network topology design, network automation with Ansible and Terraform, and 2nd- and 3rd-level support. The role also involves leading infrastructure projects, maintaining documentation, and participating in rotating on-call duty. Candidates should have a STEM degree, strong firewall and network security experience, relevant Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet knowledge, and initial professional network administration experience. The position offers flexible office and remote working arrangements and is generally available as full-time or part-time.
