Description
The role handles second-level network and security incidents, firewall administration, LAN/WAN/VPN troubleshooting, security-event analysis, incident-response support, monitoring, change documentation, customer projects, and technical documentation. It requires a Fachinformatiker Systemintegration qualification or equivalent, several years of network or security support experience, knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and at least one firewall manufacturer, plus monitoring and ticketing experience. Preferred qualifications include Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos certifications, Microsoft 365, Azure, SIEM, Linux, and Windows Server knowledge. The role offers home-office possibilities and development opportunities toward Network, Security, or Security Operations Engineering.
