Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Network Dev Engineer III in Seattle to drive technical strategy and implement large-scale network initiatives, including network sustaining engineering, deployment, scaling, technology refresh, optimization, and support for major customers. The role involves troubleshooting routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues; collaborating with automation, network, systems, and software engineering teams; maintaining networking standards; and documenting processes. Candidates need a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field plus one year of experience, or a bachelor's degree plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, along with experience in IP networking, routing protocols, network operating systems, large network environments, Unix or Linux, and Python, Perl, or Shell scripting. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $159,100 to $215,300 per year.
