Description
AWS is hiring a Network Development Engineer for its Backbone Enterprise and Regional Engineering (BERE) team. The role focuses on network and systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, sustaining engineering, optimization, customer support, troubleshooting, and the development and maintenance of networking automation tools and standards. The engineer will work in a 24x7 on-call rotation, travel to data centers and customer sites as needed, and collaborate with network, systems, and software engineering teams. The position requires at least four years of experience in major internet routing protocols, Linux/Unix environments, and automation scripting with Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.
