AWS Core Networking is hiring a Network Development Engineer for its Network Fabric Engineering team to build, deploy, scale, sustain, and optimize global datacenter networks supporting AWS customers and business units. The role involves network routing, interconnectivity, Unix systems, automation, troubleshooting, customer support, documentation, and travel to datacenter and customer sites. It requires substantial experience with internet routing protocols, Linux/Unix, large-scale networking, network and operating system support, and technical support, with Python, Bash, Shell, Perl, and networking fundamentals preferred. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 136,000 to 184,000 USD annually.
