AWS is hiring a Network Development Engineer in Sydney to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and operate network infrastructure for AWS services. The role involves routing and optical transport systems, network automation with Python, root-cause analysis, on-call support, capacity planning, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need extensive IP networking, BGP and OSPF, Cisco IOS or Junos, Linux/Unix, and network troubleshooting experience; ITIL, COBIT, network hardware, packet forwarding, scripting, and customer-diagnosis experience are preferred.
