Description
This role involves designing, deploying, and supporting various network environments such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN. The Network Engineer will configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, and segmentation, managing IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network performance. They will monitor network health, conduct wireless site surveys, optimize RF, and support networking services across both Windows and Linux environments. Collaboration with systems teams on Active Directory/Entra ID integration and Linux-based services is essential. The engineer will also troubleshoot network-related issues on Windows and Linux servers, support identity-aware networking, and understand OS-level service interactions. Cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or GCP is required, along with implementing Zero-Trust principles and configuring next-generation firewalls. The role includes participating in vulnerability remediation, optimizing network performance for SaaS platforms, and automating network/system interactions using PowerShell, Python/Bash, APIs, and webhooks.
