Description
The District-wide Network and VoIP Communications Manager plans, designs, implements, analyzes, and maintains the District's network infrastructure, including wireless and Voice over IP communications. The role supervises network staff, troubleshoots and secures networks, monitors performance and availability, develops proposals and RFPs, integrates local area networks, configures routers and switches, and manages network growth and documentation. It requires in-person campus work, a bachelor's degree and six years of related experience or equivalent education and experience, Cisco certification, and extensive network, wireless, VoIP, and systems administration expertise. The position also requires on-call availability, irregular hours, a valid driver's license, insurability, and travel throughout the District.
