Description
MEMX is hiring a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its low-latency trading network infrastructure. The role supports enterprise and production network devices using Ansible and Python, responds to alerts and incidents, performs root-cause analysis, handles customer connection turn-ups and connectivity troubleshooting, validates new products, and coordinates with security, business, data center, and circuit providers. The position requires at least five years of experience with low-latency distributed systems and network architectures, knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, network operating systems, timing protocols, optical fiber, and firewall design, with Python and Ansible scripting preferred. The role is scheduled for the second shift from 4 PM to 1 AM ET, Monday through Friday, and offers a pay range of $130,000 to $160,000 plus medical, dental, and vision benefits.
