OpenAI is hiring a Network Engineer to design, operate, and improve secure, scalable enterprise networks across offices, labs, campuses, points of presence, cloud environments, and hybrid settings. The role combines strategic network architecture, standards, roadmaps, capacity planning, and production operations with incident response, automation, observability, security, and service improvements. It requires enterprise networking expertise, routing and switching fundamentals, production troubleshooting, network security, observability, and infrastructure automation, and is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model of three office days per week.
