Description
Apple is hiring a Network Operations Engineer to support its global MPLS backbone, data center, edge, Internet, metro, and long-haul optical transport networks. The role provides frontline support, resolves critical network issues, handles tickets and break fixes, escalates and mentors junior team members, develops network automation playbooks, coordinates peering expansions, and maintains technical and procedural documentation. Candidates need at least two years of network operations experience in a large-scale enterprise or service provider environment, English fluency, outage-management experience, and working knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, and IGP protocols; Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or Nokia carrier-grade networking experience is preferred.
