Description
The Network Engineer II provides 24x7 network support for production and corporate networks, troubleshooting layer 1–3 issues and maintaining WAN, BGP, ISIS, LAN, FHRP, VLAN, STP, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN endpoints, and related services. The role monitors network health, restores service, manages network changes and SOPs, supports ISP and vendor issues, and may require weekend or swing shifts. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, 2–5 years of related experience or training, CCNA or equivalent knowledge, and familiarity with routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, email, virtual machines, and content delivery networks. The position pays $72,960–$115,200 USD annually and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
