Description
Meta is hiring a Network Engineer for its Site Services and Edge Network Services Operations team to support Outside Plant infrastructure across its global backbone network. The role covers long-haul and metro fiber, conduit systems, splice points, interconnection facilities, incident resolution, operational improvements, asset and route documentation, vendor and field-technician guidance, and data-driven network optimization. The position requires a completed bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of large-scale OSP infrastructure experience, and hands-on fiber systems experience including OTDR testing, fusion splicing, fiber characterization, and route documentation. International and domestic travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
