Meta is hiring a Network Infrastructure Design Engineer for its Edge & Network Services team to support the expansion of its global Edge/Backbone network and compute presence. The role designs and manages space, power, cooling, structured cabling, and other inside-plant infrastructure for owned and colocation facilities, including POPs, cable landing stations, and backbone midpoint sites. Responsibilities include facility sizing, vendor coordination, project execution, acceptance testing, floor planning, engineering design packages, and alignment with network planning and investment teams. The position requires 7+ years of data center or comparable mission-critical facility design experience, professional engineering licensure, and 20% to 30% travel based on project demand.
