Description
AWS is hiring a Network Install Technician to move and install large enterprise equipment, install and patch fiber and copper cabling, perform hardware installation and break-fix activities, and maintain safety and security standards in data centers. The role requires travel between data center locations, physical work including lifting up to 40 pounds and working in cramped or elevated environments, and availability for after-hours support. Candidates need at least 18 months of experience in data center or critical-environment technical roles and 18 months of experience with network cabling, optical types, and test equipment. The position is based in Hermiston, Oregon, with a base salary of 30.91–54.18 USD per hour.
