Description
The role is responsible for building, evaluating, operating, and supporting a vendor-independent network management system; assessing implementation, migration, troubleshooting, security, and customization processes; migrating existing network-management solutions; integrating the system into operational processes; handling tickets, managing the CMDB, conducting health checks, providing documentation, and running technical workshops; evaluating vendor roadmaps and architectures; and developing migration concepts and operational documentation. The profile requires vocational training in IT or telecommunications, several years of hands-on experience with network-management or IT-infrastructure solutions, knowledge of network-management systems and IP/transport networks, experience with migrations and ticketing systems, remote-access and documentation skills, willingness to work on-call and travel irregularly, very good German, and a class B driver’s license.
