Description
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician monitors and troubleshoots Layer 3, Layer 2, optical, and fiber-based network connectivity for institutions connected to the North Carolina Research and Education Network, while supporting MCNC facilities and the NOC and Network Engineering teams. The role handles client support, field troubleshooting, vendor coordination, service tracking, database updates, and other network operations assignments. It is based on-site at MCNC headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and pays $17–$19 per hour.
