Description
Waymo is hiring a Network Operations Manager to lead a team of engineers, technical professionals, and vendor agents and manage high-availability network infrastructure. The role owns major service disruptions, ITIL-aligned incident and change governance, deployment and maintenance of firewalls, switches, access points, UPS, and other production infrastructure, complex network event correlation, and the transition to automated network operations. Candidates need 7+ years of network operations or engineering experience, 2+ years in management or team leadership, strong CLI and cloud-networking skills, and a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience. The position requires approximately 20% travel and offers a base salary of $175,000–$215,000 USD across United States locations.
