Description
Proton is hiring a Network Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and performance of its global network infrastructure. The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting network operations, implementing protocol-level optimizations, deploying network security controls, building automation tooling in Python, Go, or Rust, leading network upgrades and migrations, operating telemetry and Kubernetes-based controllers, and participating in on-call incident response. Candidates need at least five years of hands-on enterprise-scale network experience, deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN VXLAN, and TCP/IP, and experience with network security controls, scripting, Linux, Terraform, and Git. The role is onsite in Paris, with compensation of 50,000€ to 77,000€.
