Description
The City of Virginia Beach is seeking a Network Security Administrator to secure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, switches, routers, wireless systems, and network services. The role covers security operations, incident response, vulnerability remediation, SIEM monitoring, compliance, documentation, and support for disaster recovery and business continuity. It is contingent upon contract award and requires a U.S. citizen, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or six years of relevant experience, and 3–5+ years of network security or security operations experience.
