Description
gFiber is hiring a Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and harden edge defenses and core routing infrastructure for its large-scale ISP network. The role focuses on internet-facing protocols, boundary defenses, high-volume traffic analysis, threat mitigation, and automating security workflows with Python or Go. The engineer will also advise cross-functional teams on network security and identify improvements across the network posture. The position requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, five years of security or infrastructure security experience, and familiarity with BGP, firewalls, ACLs, Terraform, Ansible, and Python or Go. The US base salary range is $116,200 to $187,900 plus bonus and benefits, and the role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
