Leidos is hiring a Network Software Engineer Lead for its Digital Sector/Global Solutions Management-Operations II contract in the Scott AFB, Illinois area. The role leads the design, development, testing, documentation, release, and deployment of software for the Cisco Network Services Orchestrator platform, integrates software with Cisco and Juniper routers, and sustains a carrier-class Wide Area Network supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency. The position also involves network engineering, project management, risk mitigation, technical guidance, and mentoring lower-level engineers. Candidates need an active DoD Secret clearance or higher, DoD 8750 IAT II or equivalent certification, Python and network software development experience, Linux and distributed version control experience, and a BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience. The pay range is $107,900 to $195,050.
