Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Network Software Test Engineer III to lead test strategy and execution for complex network features and subsystems. The role owns test plans, defect triage, root-cause analysis, Python-based automation, AI/LLM-assisted test generation, security testing, packet-trace analysis, and production-like testbeds. It requires 4–5+ years of network quality assurance, network engineering, or security-focused testing experience, a relevant BS/MS degree, strong networking and Python skills, and experience with security testing and network tooling. The position is hybrid, requiring approximately two days per week at an HPE office, and offers a United States base salary of USD 120,500–243,000 in California.
