Description
Amazon is hiring a Network Operations Engineer for its Amazon Leo satellite network to provide tier 1 support for software-defined network services. The role involves responding to and escalating network incidents, troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and security issues; supporting deployment and onboarding of network infrastructure; monitoring performance and uptime; building operational tools and procedures; managing severity 2 and 3 tickets; attending on-call rotations; and leading and mentoring other Network Support Engineers. The position requires at least four years of software development or technical support experience, network engineering experience, scripting ability, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent networking experience. The role is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 90,400 to 158,200 USD annually.
