Cerebras Systems is hiring a Network Systems Architect to define the scale-up and scale-out network architecture for current and future Cerebras platforms, including proprietary accelerator interconnects, protocols, and switching. The role involves translating application, compiler, runtime, and systems communication patterns into fabric requirements, selecting standards-based or custom technologies, and using performance models, simulation, prototypes, and lab data to validate architecture choices. Responsibilities include setting architecture roadmaps, defining topology and switch behavior, writing specifications, leading design reviews, and driving decisions through implementation, bring-up, and qualification. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, typically 12 or more years of relevant industry experience, and deep expertise in low-latency or proprietary interconnects, fabric protocols, and switch architecture.
