Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Network Systems Software Engineer to work primarily from an HPE office. The role designs and develops shared, high-performance networking infrastructure for Layer-2 and Layer-3 protocols, including routing, switching, VPN, and overlay systems. The engineer will write optimized C code, manage memory and data structures, debug system-level performance and concurrency issues, and collaborate with protocol, testing, QA, and product teams. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering and 6 to 10 years of networking or systems product development experience.
