Description
Black Box Network Services is hiring a Network Infrastructure Technician to install, test, certify, troubleshoot, and maintain structured and optical cabling in data center and communications-closet environments. The role includes patching network equipment, installing power and UPS cables, completing move-add-change requests, performing layer-1 troubleshooting, supporting carrier circuit testing, and assisting with facilities and emergency restoration activities. The position is hourly, scheduled Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and requires customer-site work in Chicago, Illinois, with shift work including nights and weekends.
