Microsoft is hiring a Networking Technology Consultant to support pre-sales, architecture, implementation, deployment, governance, and delivery of Microsoft networking and cloud solutions. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least one year of relevant business experience, and an active U.S. Government TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. The position offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD $77,900 to $156,200 per year, with higher ranges in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 1 year of work experience in a relevant business area
At least 6 years of experience as a network engineer or technical program manager for networks
At least 2 years of experience with architecture, deployment, and/or operations of Government classified networks
At least 4 years of experience with architecture, deployment, and operations of Government classified networks
At least 2 years of experience with cloud networking implementations, preferably focused on onboarding customer infrastructure to the cloud
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant business area
Technical certifications in Azure, Security, or Dynamics
Delivery management certification in Scrum, Agile, Change Management, or Project Management
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline, or 4 years of equivalent related experience
CCNP or higher or equivalent professional certification, or CompTIA Security+ certification
Applied experience with Ansible, Splunk, and/or SolarWinds
Applied experience with firewall, network security, or network monitoring solutions, including Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower/ASA, and/or Juniper SRX
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams, geographies, and business functions
Experience working under continual deadline pressure in ambiguous situations
