The Shaver operates a round knife, or fleshing wheel, to shave down and detail animal skins after pickling and before tanning. The role also involves turning faces, removing toe bones with a scalpel, following safety and hazard-communication procedures, and maintaining quality, teamwork, production, and attendance. It is a full-time hourly position starting at $15 per hour with paid training and progression to $17 per hour, plus benefits and paid time off.
