KGAN is hiring a Creative News Producer to produce daily newscasts, determine content and flow, collaborate with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors, and generate and write stories for broadcast and the website. The role requires news judgment, writing, multitasking, deadline management, leadership, communication, news-strategy execution, flexibility, and proficiency with non-linear editing and newsroom systems. Previous commercial TV news-producing experience is required, although an entry-level candidate may be considered; a journalism degree is preferred.
