Description
The CNC Machinist sets up, operates, inspects, and troubleshoots CNC lathes and milling machines to produce quality parts within tight tolerances. The role requires interpreting drawings and specifications, using precision measuring instruments, maintaining equipment, operating forklifts, and communicating with shop personnel. A high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of CNC experience in a heavy manufacturing environment are required, along with advanced drawing and geometric tolerancing knowledge and basic math skills.
