Equipment Services Plus is hiring a Night Shift Mechanic for its Chicago location, working the afternoon/second shift. The role involves diagnosing and repairing Class 8 heavy-duty diesel trucks and other heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, completing overhauls, welding and metal fabrication as needed, responding to road calls, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates need 2–5 years of truck repair experience, experience with Mack, Kenworth, and Peterbilt trucks, strong diagnostic and repair skills, their own tools, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a CDL Class B license and welding experience are preferred.
