Description
The Operations Supervisor directly supervises employees in a manufacturing environment and oversees designated work centers to meet production, quality, and on-time delivery goals. Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring production and quality performance, coordinating with other departments, developing team and continuous-improvement initiatives, enforcing quality assurance procedures, providing performance feedback and employee development, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The role requires five years of supervisory experience, assembly-mechanic knowledge, Lean manufacturing principles, tooling and process knowledge, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
