Description
NOV is hiring a night shift Welder for its Houma, Louisiana team. The role performs SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding on carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, Inconel, and other specialty alloys; interprets engineering drawings and welding procedures; maintains preheat, interpass temperatures, and heat input; completes production documentation; maintains material traceability; and operates overhead cranes and welding equipment. The position requires passing weld qualification tests, blueprint and weld-symbol reading, measuring-tool knowledge, and safe equipment operation, with industrial welding experience and API 6A manufacturing experience preferred.
