Hornblower Group is hiring a Node & React software engineer to develop and maintain ticketing web applications, design and build Node platform applications, create APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable, high-performance systems. The role includes architectural decision-making, performance and security optimization, bug fixing, technical documentation, and mentorship of junior engineers. Candidates need a computer technology-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with Node.js and React.js, at least seven years of software engineering or architecture experience, and familiarity with distributed systems, databases, RESTful APIs, cloud messaging, and version-control tools.
