Scot Forge Company is hiring an NDE Engineer Intern for its Summer 2027 internship at the corporate facility in Spring Grove, Illinois. The intern will support the NDE team through hands-on inspections, research projects, process-control development, and collaboration with robotic ultrasonic testing suppliers. The role requires junior-year standing in an engineering discipline with an NDE focus, Microsoft Office, technical-drawing interpretation, SolidWorks, and project-management skills; experience with technical writing, NDE methods, Python, or Waygate ultrasonic flaw detectors is preferred. The internship is paid, includes mentoring and project work, and may require occasional travel to manufacturing plants.
