Description

Phoenix LLC is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to perform radiographic operations and provide technical support for experiments involving engineering evaluation, fabrication, assembly, and documentation. This full-time position supports Radiography operations utilizing an accelerator-based neutron source at the Imaging Center, focusing on non-destructive testing. Core duties include performing radiographic operations, providing technical support, operating and maintaining equipment, applying knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, participating in training programs, and identifying problem-solving strategies.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3–5 years of experience in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications: Certification and maintenance as a NAS 410 Neutron Radiography Level I
Ability to operate various hand and power tools
Desire to learn innovative technologies and concepts
Knowledge of office computer software, including word processing and spreadsheets
Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a multidisciplinary team environment
Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Experience in radiography of munitions, explosives, and other critical components and interpretation of radiographs
