Description
Amazon is hiring a Nondestructive Testing Engineer to serve as a technical resource for AWS data centers. The role oversees medium-sized projects, executes and supports predictive and preventive maintenance, inspects critical power, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and other systems, documents defects, analyzes inspection data, and promotes safety and security. The engineer will work across multiple regional data center sites, travel regularly, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires at least one year of relevant electrical, mechanical, operations, or data center experience, along with Microsoft Office experience; data center engineering, NDT discipline, and ASNT Level II qualifications are preferred. The role is based in Manassas, Virginia, with starting pay of 32.88–57.50 USD per hour.
