Description
Amazon is hiring a Nondestructive Testing Engineer to serve as a technical resource within its data centers. The role oversees medium-sized projects, supports and deploys nondestructive testing and preventative maintenance for electrical, mechanical, fire detection, building automation, power distribution, plumbing, structural, and other critical systems, and promotes safety, security, availability, and customer experience. The engineer will work autonomously and collaboratively with engineers, technicians, project managers, and management, communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences, and escalate facility-related issues. The position requires at least one year of relevant electrical, mechanical, data center, or mission-critical facilities experience, Microsoft Office experience, and a flexible schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
