Description
The Nondestructive Testing Inspector performs visual and nondestructive testing on cast, forged, welded, and machined parts to verify compliance with drawings, client specifications, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include operating magnetic-particle, ultrasonic, and liquid-penetrant equipment, maintaining calibration, evaluating test results, communicating with clients, preparing reports and billing sheets, and following safety procedures. The role requires CGSB Level 2 certification in magnetic-particle, liquid-penetrant, and/or ultrasonic inspection, at least five years of related inspection and NDT equipment experience, a technical college degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and French-English communication ability.
