Description
BHSN is hiring a Supportive Housing Caseworker to provide individualized housing and supportive services to Northwoods ESSHI tenants in a permanent, supportive mixed-housing setting. The role manages caseloads, coordinates mental health, substance use, primary care, benefits, transportation, funding, and discharge services; supports tenants in offices and homes; completes housing assessments and Housing Quality Standards inspections; responds to crises; and performs clerical, data-entry, and light maintenance tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with all shifts requiring the employee to remain awake. An associate degree in a human-services-related field or a high school diploma with three years of human-services experience is required, along with special-needs experience, a valid New York State driver’s license, local transportation, and CPR certification within 120 days of employment.
