Description
The Office of Domestic Violence is recruiting eight Social Workers to serve as NoVA/MRT-Consultation Unit Social Workers. The role provides crisis intervention, trauma counseling, safety planning, shelter eligibility assessments, on-site counseling, referrals, case conferences, advocacy, and recordkeeping for domestic violence survivors and their families. The position works from centrally based or outstation Human Resources Administration and Department of Homeless Services facilities, requires a master's degree in social work, and requires an LMSW or LCSW license within one year of appointment.
