Description
The NP/PA Intern is an observation-only trainee role for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant students to gain exposure to a healthcare setting through supervised observation of licensed providers. The intern shadows providers to observe patient-centered care, clinical workflows, and professional interactions without participating in direct patient care. The role requires current enrollment in an accredited NP or PA program, program approval for the internship, confidentiality and professionalism, strong communication skills, and successful completion of on-site orientation and a confidentiality agreement.
