Description
The Chemical Engineer assists in developing and sustaining innovative, cost-effective products and processes by planning and evaluating project approaches, producing specifications and mathematical models, building prototypes and lab simulations, conducting tests, supporting commercialization, and maintaining documentation. The role may direct technicians, mentor junior engineers, support field and customer activities, author technical publications, and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Applicants need 5–15 years of experience in a product development environment; a chemical engineering degree is required and a PhD is desirable.
