Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Product Technical Expert (PTE) for its Product Management team in Heimstetten, Germany. The role serves as the technical and strategic lead for a semiconductor manufacturing equipment product line, owning the product from new product introduction through volume production. Responsibilities include qualifying components, driving design for manufacturability, supporting AI optimization and prototype builds, managing system integration and engineering change documentation, and collaborating with industrial, supplier, R&D, and manufacturing teams. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and substantial product development experience in semiconductor or high-tech capital equipment; experience with vacuum systems, robotics, high-voltage management, or precision motion control is desirable. The salary range is €70,400 to €96,800, with 10% travel and no relocation eligibility.
