Description
The National Service Officer Apprentice is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role that provides on-the-job training to become a National Service Officer representing veterans and their families in disability claims and other benefits from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and other government entities. The apprentice will study veterans-benefits laws and regulations, conduct interviews, review service and medical records, prepare claim submissions, monitor claims, advise claimants on appeals, and represent claimants before military and VA hearing panels. The position is supervised by a Supervisory National Service Officer, requires nationwide availability for relocation, and pays $20.18–$31.39 per hour.
